Location

Diamond Cross Ranch is located a little ways outside of Jackson, so if you are looking for an option with closer proximity to town then you may want to weigh some other options as well. It is located just east of Moran and is about a 44 minute drive from Downtown Jackson. HERE is a link to the venue on google maps. Most couples end up having their guests shuttled to and from Jackson on the day.

  • Horse release during your ceremony
  • Landscaped lawn for your ceremony and reception with an incredible unobstructed view of the Grand Tetons

  • Comfortable seating for up to approx. 200 guests.
  • On-site bridal suite for bride and bridesmaids’ preparation before the ceremony
  • 200 wooden chairs with a padded seat for ceremony or reception
  • Nineteen 60-inch round tables that comfortably seat 8 adults each
  • Wifi
  • Outdoor fire pit
  • Interior heating
  • Outdoor covered patio
  • Interior Men’s and Women’s restrooms
  • Couple photos with horses during sunset
  • Plenty of parking for shuttles and vehicles

Here’s what you can expect to pay for the venue for your wedding day should you book with Diamond Cross Ranch:

  • $5,000-$16,000 (Pricing depends on size of event, day of the event, and season of the event)
  • There is a required $1,000 damage deposit for all three of the options above

Needless to say, there’s a lot included with the venue, and it does come at a premium price point. You get what you pay for in this case though, because the quality of the venue and the epic scenery are certainly top-tier. The lawn is immaculate, the indoor reception space is luxurious with great lighting, and guests get to interact with horses at the fence throughout the night.

One of the trademarks of Diamond Cross Ranch is the ‘running of the horses’ that happens as the couple has their first kiss at the end of their ceremony. A herd of horses is released and they gallop across the field with a backdrop of the Tetons. It’s a pretty unique touch to ceremonies and one of the drawing factors for couples to the venue.

Another unique experience you’ll get to have on your day is being able to take your bridal photos with the horses in the field at sunset. The sunsets are magical on the property, and you get to interact with one of the horses and take photos with it. You’re going to want these photos on your wall because they always turn out epic!

Pro’s and Con’s of Diamond Cross Ranch

Pro’s:

  • An epic Teton backdrop during your ceremony
  • Countless venue perks that make your wedding day smooth and provide a comfortable experience for both the bride and groom as well as the guests
  • High guest capacity that makes for a good option for bigger weddings
  • The ‘running of the horses’ during the ceremony and bridal photos with horses
  • A trusted and highly respected name/venue amongst the Jackson area
  • Well-lit reception space in the red barn

Con’s:

  • No getting-ready room for groom and very small room for the bride, (better to do this at the nearby Teton Cabins or in town)
