Erin and Logan wanted a super laid back elopement day in the Tetons with just the two of them. Their timing couldn’t have been more perfect with amazing weather and wildflowers! We met them at their room at the Rustic Inn, which was a perfect spot for them to stay at the edge of town closest to the National Park. Matt hopped in the car with Logan and they got a head start to the first look location and then Lauren drove Erin to the spot shortly after. Matt got Logan set up for the first look and once Erin and Lauren arrived we hopped into the first look which was super cute.

Ceremony at Blacktail Ponds Overlook
After the first look we bounced over to Blacktail Ponds for the ceremony. The clouds moved in and the spot was loaded with wildflowers which made for an absolutely gorgeous ceremony. Blacktail Ponds is one of the most picturesque spots in the park and you can never go wrong with having a ceremony there.
Once the ceremony was over we let Erin and Logan take in the views and the stillness of the air for a few minutes before moving on to the rest of the day. After they took in the moment they signed the marriage license to make things officially official!

Photos at Blacktail Ponds
After signing the marriage license it was time to get some epic couples photos at Blacktail Ponds. We had Erin and Logan head down into the meadow below so we could get some “small people, big mountains” shots. The meadow shots help show the true massive scale of the Tetons and the greenery in the meadow is beautiful.

Wildflower Bonanza
From Blacktail Ponds we headed to one of our favorite unnamed spots that has incredible wildflowers. They were out in force and we spent some time snapping a few photos of Erin and Logan within the flowers. The air was dead still and there wasn’t another soul around. June can be hard to beat if you know where to get to flowers and escape the crowds!

Sunset by the water
As the sun continued to drop over the mountains we headed to a spot nearby that has a gorgeous creek meandering through a field. We captured some photos here and the two of them also took a few minutes to enjoy the scenery and each other’s company.

Final Stop
On the way back into town so they could get to dinner, they wanted to stop at the GTNP sign to get a couple more final photos. After getting the final photos we wished them well on the rest of their trip and the relaxing evening that was ahead of them. We couldn’t have pictured a more perfect day for these two and we’re so glad they got to make the trek out and have their elopement day be exactly what they wanted it to be. Congrats to Erin and Logan, may their marriage be filled with boundless adventures and laughs!
