We know the Jackson Hole area like the back of our hands from years of exploring it inside and out. We are outside exploring the area almost every day of the week from June to October, so we know the best locations to be and when, the way lighting hits the mountains, the best pockets of wildflowers and fall colors, and the way the weather patterns typically move. Our goal is for you to be present on your day and let us do the stressing!

When you book us, you get both of us on your day! For photo-only days, both of us shoot photos. For photo and video days, Lauren shoots photo and Matt shoots video.

Matt helps people manage for your ceremony and family photos, allowing Lauren to focus on taking photos, things to run smoothly, and you two to stay in the moment.

We capture 95% of our weddings in the Jackson Hole area. We have shot anywhere from 15-40 weddings and elopements per year in Jackson, and we now currently aim to sit at a sweet spot of 18-25 per year.

We don’t claim to be Jackson Hole photographers but live states away and only shoot a few per year. We live, breathe, and adventure the Tetons every year from June-October, with the occasional out of area wedding once a year. 

Based on what you two are wanting for your day regarding greenery, weather, wildflowers, fall colors, wildlife, etc. we can help guide you towards what dates historically provide the highest chance of your desired conditions. Every year is a little different, but we have a good pulse on what typically happens when!

During the wedding season we track the weather religiously so we're always ready to make a pivot if it means a better experience for our couples. Some may say Lauren is a part-time meteorologist during the wedding season.

Being local during the summer and fall, we stay in the loop and aware of closures and detours within the area, the park, and trails. Even when closures or detours happen last minute, we know the area and the roads well enough to find alternative locations and routes on the fly.

We initially create multiple timelines for your day based on lighting, locations, and activities you want to incorporate into your day. From there, you can decide the amount of coverage you want by choosing your favorite timeline, or can give us feedback on how we can tailor your timeline to better fit your needs.

We are honest. If you want to go to the most trafficked spots for your ceremony or photos, but want privacy, we will be honest and tell you if a location may not offer the privacy you're looking for. We will offer alternative locations when possible, but will always ultimately let you decide.

We have had the opportunity to work with lots of incredible vendors in the area, so we feel confident that we can recommend our favorite vendors for your day that will fit your needs and will take care of you. Whether you are looking for florals and makeup, an officiant, or looking to host your wedding reception at a beautiful venue/restaurant with full decor.

We’ve seen it all and we’ve had anything that could happen on a wedding day happen. Downpour, blistering cold, extreme winds, that uncle that gets a little loose-lipped after a few drinks, the mother that can be a little stressful for the bride.

We know how to handle anything that the elements throw at us and how to navigate any type of family dynamic.

With our extensive knowledge of lodging, food, camping, and activity options in the area we are always one text or email away from advice to help you plan the perfect trip to the Tetons!

This is our full time job and our livelihood. You will always get our best effort throughout the planning process and on your day!

We take preservation of your memories extremely serious! We always back up copies of photos and videos to a hard drive and the cloud at the end of a wedding day, even if that means it's at 1 in the morning.

We also both have multiple back up cameras, and all of our cameras have dual SD card slots. This means that all of the photos and videos we capture are written to both SD cards simultaneously, so if one of them were to fail there's a backup.

Location Guidance

We send all of our couples a detailed location guide with over 40 ceremony and photo locations in the area. There's a lot of hidden gems that we've found through exploration and we're always discovering more!
