Lindsey and Allen wanted a simple, laid back elopement day in the Tetons. Their timing couldn’t have been more perfect, with fresh snow on the peaks and fall colors beginning to shine.
We met them at one of our favorite spots in the inner park loop and after meeting them and letting them get settled we jumped right into the ceremony.
They exchanged beautiful vows while the mountains and fall lighting showed off big time. After exchanging their vows they put their rings on each other’s fingers and we pronounced them husband and wife!

Picnic at Mountain View Turnout
After they took it in for a few minutes we headed to Mountain View Turnout for a cake picnic and a few photos. We always think that some sort of picnic is an awesome way to slow down your day and have intentional time with each other! Even if it’s only for 5-10 minutes.

Mount Moran Turnout
From Mountain View Turnout we headed to a couple spots that we rarely have couples choose which is a bummer because they’re awesome spots! The likely reason they don’t get chosen often is because they’re on the side of the park furthest from Jackson which is definitely fair. Both sides of the park have their own unique beauty and it’s hard to go wrong with either!
The first spot we head to after Mountain View Turnout was Mount Moran Turnout which offers a unique view of the Teton range.

Willow Flats Overlook
From Mount Moran Turnout it was off to our next spot for a few photos: Willow Flats Overlook. This spot is absolutely stunning on a fall evening. You can see a glimmer of Jackson Lake in the background below the mountains and the fall colors glow. This area of the park is one of the best areas to spot wildlife as well!

Oxbow Bend
After Willow Flats it was off to Oxbow Bend for the final set of photos before saying goodbye. This spot is another stunner especially in the fall. We highly recommend against having a ceremony here though, because it typically gets quite crowded and you wouldn’t have much privacy during your ceremony. That being said, it’s a great spot to stop for couples photos after your ceremony!
We grabbed a few more photos of Lindsey and Allen at Oxbow Bend and then we said goodbye and wished them well on the rest of their trip to the Tetons. It was a perfect laid back day for the two of them and it was an honor for us to be there and capture it. Congrats to Lindsey and Allen, may their marriage be filled with boundless adventures and laughs!
