Kyndall and Christopher invited all of their family and friends to Maui for a week full of good times and a gorgeous wedding. Their wedding day was held at GATHER ON MAUI. The ocean backdrop at Gather is hard to beat and the reception space was perfect for the amount of friends and family that were in attendance. The day started out chill and ended with probably the wildest and most fun dancing we’ve ever seen at a reception.
The Welcome BBQ at the Sands
All of Kyndall and Chris’s family and friends stayed in the same condo complex together (KAMOLE SANDS). The day before the wedding they held a welcome BBQ which allowed them to spend quality time with their guests and got everyone together before the big day.
Getting Ready In Their Condos
Kyndall and Chris both got ready separately in their condos. They were surrounded by friends and family and it was a fun, laid back environment. Kyndall did a first look with all of her bridesmaids and Chris shared a special moment with his groomsmen reflecting on their relationships and talking about how far Chris has come in his career and life. Kyndall and Chris wrote each other letters and they opened them up and read them while getting ready.
Special First Looks
After getting ready Kyndall did a first look with her father and with Chris. Lets just say there were tears flowing during both first looks.
Venue Details
Gather on Maui was a beautiful venue that offered everything a couple could possibly ask for on their wedding day. The food was amazing and the hospitality from the staff was next level.
Ceremony Time
Family and friends slowly filled in the seats and the emotional ceremony began. Chris’s brother officiated the ceremony and Kyndall and Chris shared heartfelt personal vows that left everyone choked up. The cheers from family and friends were thunderous when Chris’s brother pronounced them husband and wife and they had their first kiss. They had all been waiting a long time and traveled a long ways to see these two awesome people get married.
Group photos on the lawn
Having family photos and bridal party photos to look back on for countless years is of utmost importance, and was especially the case for Kyndall and Chris. They did family/bridal photos both before and after the ceremony which gave them a good mix of lighting and scenery.
Couples Photos on the Beach
After the ceremony we snuck Kyndall and Chris down to the beach and boy was our timing perfect. We were greeted by a golden ocean sunset that can only be described as magical. The ‘Maui glow’ lived up to the hype. We captured some gorgeous bridal photos and videos of them and once the sun was tucked away for the night we headed back up to the venue.
Reception of a lifetime
What happened at Gather on Maui that night stays at Gather on Maui. We’ll sum it up in one sentence. Grand entrance, emotional speeches, moonlit first dances, extravagant dinner, shirtless dancing, bubble send-off. Safe to say this may be the most fun we’ve seen a group of people have during a wedding reception.
