Tatum and Charles had it all on their elopement day! Rain, rainbows, gorgeous fall colors… you name it! They got ready at their Airbnb near Jackson Hole Golf & Tennis Club, which is a great option that is close to the National Park.
First Look at Blacktail Ponds
After getting ready we headed to Blacktail Ponds Overlook for a first look. Charles and Matt got a head start and then Lauren drove Tatum once the boys were on the road.
Upon arriving at Blacktail Ponds we ended up having to wait out a thunderstorm that was rolling through at lightning speed (no pun intended) and after it cleared an absolutely perfect rainbow appeared right as Tatum was walking to Charles for the first look!
Ceremony and Couples Photos
After their adorable first look we began the ceremony. Matt officiated their ceremony and they both had heartwarming personal vows that they shared with each other. After snapping a few post-ceremony photos we headed off to some other spots on the inner-park loop to get some more pictures. One of which was String Lake where we got some epic umbrella shots of the two of them and there wasn’t another soul around.
Champagne and Cake
Tatum and Charles had been planning on doing a picnic in the National Park but the rain continued to worsen so we all decided it was probably best to just head back to their Airbnb, pop some champagne, and eat some cake.
Cowboy bar and pizza!
We hit it off immediately with these two earlier in the day and they invited us to pizza in Downtown Jackson after champagne and cake. We can never turn down pizza with awesome company so we of course said yes and enjoyed some Pinky G’s (our favorite downtown pizza option) with them after snapping some moody rainy pics of them in front of the Cowboy Bar and the antlers. We can’t wait to hopefully cross paths with them again someday!!
